Bicester put on another amazing Flywheel, fortunately helped by the weather holding off for the most part. It did rain although only as we got into the car.
There were lots of aircraft visiting including the Tiger 9, a Spitfire flown by Red Bull legend Paul Bonhomme, Lauren Richardson’s Pitts and the Great War Display Team. Annoyingly the wind picked up and forced the Great War Display Team to call their display off. Everyone else showed up and displayed, with the possible exception of the BBMF who’s Dakota was replaced with a Hawker Hurricane. My highlight was the Buchon and Spitfire performance with the pyrotechnics and general comedic war additions. Annoyingly a Tiger Moth had conveniently parked up in front of me so I could not get any photos of the effects but they were good to watch anyway.
I have put some photos below and as there were so many aircraft, I have not listed them as usual.
