4 out of 5, that’s a pretty good hit rate, shows how nice the weather has been really, and is a really nice way to jump back into things after a long drought in February and early March. I really hope that tomorrow holds up too and does not go the forecast way (Cloudy with a chance of rain). There were some beautiful, old and amazing planes today topped off with a nice set of pilots, I counted at least 6 waves or thumbs-ups! It might not look like there were too many, and granted, there were not many aircraft but all but three showed up at least twice.
As I did not go up to the top, all aircraft are active
These were the aircraft seen:
G-AKPF (Miles M14A Hawk Trainer 3)
- G-AVLT (Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee)
G-BBMZ (De Havilland DHC-1 Chipmunk)
- G-BCCK (Grumman AA-5 Traveller)
G-BHFK (Piper PA-28-151 Cherokee Warrior)
- G-BNJT (Piper PA-28-161 Cherokee Warrior II)
- G-BNSP (Slingsby T.67M Firefly Mk.2)
G-BNYP (Piper PA-28-181 Cherokee Archer II)
