“Three stitches under my bottom lip”
And, finally, after a weekend of much waiting and pain I managed to get to the aerodrome. Unfortunately today was not as busy as the 25th which, was the busiest it has been in a long time. I would have loved to go yesterday, but, with an appointment at the JR in Oxford to eventually get three stitches under my bottom lip. (Yes, it hurt) Back to today, it was a rather nice day albeit a bit gusty, between about 10 and 30 knots. Ask G-ZOOL if you would really like to know what the weather was like! There were a couple of foreigners around as well, D-GPEZ, G-BYHH and OY-DFD. G-BYHH was flown by an American who, when asked if N96FL (White Waltham resident) was his, replied with “Oh, I wish it was! Mine is the rental Warrior from Stapleford.”
