As summer looks like it might want to arrive for once, I figured that it would be a great start to the holiday to go down to the aerodrome. Chris (Turweston Tower) made everything look quite good for the day, and albeit it a very slow start, it got busier and busier into the afternoon. Most of the early action was from the same Cherokee. There was quite a variety of traffic ranging from the usual PA-28s to a Flight Design CTSW which had a rather interesting landing. As it came in, I thought “how has this not stalled yet?” only for the wind to drop slightly and him to plummet onto the tarmac beneath.
